Toyota accuses an IT programmer of sabotaging IT network and stealing data.

A 35-year old Indian citizen who was working in the US for a contractor of Toyota has been accused of sabotaging applications on the car company's network and stealing data after he was fired from his job. Read More details at

Cyber Attacks against Aramco and RasGas


Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil producer, was subjected to a cyber attack which affected about 30,000 workstations on their network. This occurred around August 15th. A couple of weeks later an "unknown virus" has shutdown the entire computer network of the world's second largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer, the Qatar based RasGas, according to news reports. Reuters hacked thrice during the month of August


Hackers first hit the agency's blogging platform at the beginning of August with claims that the Syrian rebel army was on the retreat. Two days later, the agency's tech news Twitter feed was taken over and pro-Syrian government messages were posted. And then on 15th August, the blogging platform was again hacked and a false post was made saying Saudi Arabia's foreign minister had died. Read More details at
